The Guild is holding a raffle and tickets will be
drawn on Sunday, May 7th at approximately 3:30 p.m.
This year prizes are:
1st Prize—“Scrappy
Triangles”: This quilt fits a queen
size bed and measures approximately 90” x 90”.
The quilt top is made of 100% batik fabrics and assembled by a group of
members from the Guild. The quilting was
completed by our member, Tella Visconti.
The pattern is called Scrappy Triangles by Jean
Nolte. The quilt is valued at $1,200.
2nd Prize— “Walking
for a Cause”: This child’s quilt measures
approximately 50” x 75”, and is perfect for a single bed size. The creator of the Harebrained Happening
pattern – Jungle Walk for a Cause – is a member of the Guild. The kit was donated by our member, Donna
Dunbar. The block applique was assembled
by both Donna and Trisha Della Vella, and all blocks assembled by Liz
Felder. The quilting was completed by
our member, Tella Visconti. The quilt
has a value of $500.
3rd Prize—4 Seasonal Table/Bed Runners: The lucky
winner will win all 4 table/bed runners that have an approximate size of 12” x
76” each. Change your décor at each
season with one of the runners. The
runner’s pattern was based on the French Braid Quilts book by Jane Hardy
Miller. Value of this prize is set at
$365.
Raffle Tickets are $2 each
and 5,000 tickets have been printed. You
can purchase raffle tickets in advance from Guild members, or at the show.
